It "illustrate the incompleteness of the Copenhagen interpretation when going from subatomic to macroscopic systems.". It is a paradox.

According to his theory, a cat would exist in a living and dead state at the same time to prove/explain his theory. He called it a superposition state.

The reason you couldn't look and see if the cat is alive or dead because to look and see would change the outcome of the experiment.

Ok...maybe I didn't help you at all because now I have confused myself. I am now in a decoherence state.

ARRRRRGGGG!!!!

WHAT??!?! You have officially decomposed my brain!

So, what you're saying is, if you OPEN the box, it will change the state, therefore negating the experiment.

SOOOO, what I'M saying is why not use a glass (plexi or otherwise) case? Therefore you can view whatever is going on in an undisturbed environment.

There. If some dude can win a Pulitzer for doing research on why bedsheets wrinkle, then WHERE'S MINE???

Yes, you should research that more, then give it to me in the 2nd grade version. Because, I, my friend, am NOT smarter than a fifth grader. If you need to bring stuffed animals to illustrate, that will only make me more interested - something to think about...&=)
